A wand of locking is a type of wand that appears in NetHack.
Generation
The wand of locking makes up 2.5% of all randomly generated wands.
Description
Zapping the wand of locking in a given direction produces a beam that works similarly to the spell of wizard lock: the wand will close and lock large boxes, chests and doors, repairing the object if necessary - if zapped into a doorway that has no door at all and does not have an item on that square, a door will be created. Zapping the wand at a drawbridges will close it.
